In the ‘Images’ section, you have the option to change the header image, allowing for a customised visual representation that matches your brand identity.
Custom Fields
Under ‘Custom Fields’, you can create personalised fields by adding a ‘Custom Field Label’. You also have the choice to enable these fields or make them private, ensuring that only the necessary information is displayed. Once saved, these fields appear in the Extended Fields section of the member profile page.
Member Groups
Organising members into specific groups makes communication and management more efficient. These groups serve as a filter for admins when searching for members and are visible as tabs in the All Members section.
To manage member groups, users need the Members / Manage members and their roles permission. With this permission, they can:
- Add member groups.
- Assign members to groups.
- Edit or update existing groups.
Adding a New Member Group
- Click the ‘Add’ button at the top right of the Member Groups section.
- Enter the name of the new group and click ‘Create’.
Editing Existing Groups
- Click on the group you want to edit.
- Update the group name as needed.
- Save your changes.
Once created, member groups can be assigned to any member and selected on the Personal Information page. Users with the appropriate permission can manage these assignments, ensuring a streamlined approach to organising your community.
Filter Groups
Filter Groups allow for more targeted member management by categorising members based on specific criteria. To create a filter group:
- Click the ‘Add’ button at the top right of the Filter Groups section.
- Enter the filter group name and individual filter names.
- Use the ‘+ Add Filter’ button to include additional filters as needed.
- Click ‘+ Apply to Specific Member Group’ and select the member group you wish to associate with this filter group.
You can manage existing filter groups by selecting them, making the necessary changes, and clicking save. Once linked to a member group, these filters will appear as options on each member's personal information page. Filter groups are selectable by individual members, based on the Member Group that they were assigned to., enhancing the granularity of member categorisation.
By following these steps, you can efficiently manage your members, ensuring that your Bisner platform is tailored to meet the specific needs of your community.
