Managing Event settings

This guide will walk you through the process of editing event details, ensuring a smooth experience for both organisers and attendees.

 

  • Locate the Event
    • First, navigate to the Event Module of your Platform dashboard. Browse through the dates to find the specific event you wish to manage. This intuitive interface allows you to quickly pinpoint any event with ease.

 

  •  Access Event Settings
    • Once you've located the event, hover over the Settings icon, typically represented by a small cogwheel in the top right corner of the event entry. This will open the Event Settings page, where you can make a variety of adjustments.

 

Event Settings Overview

 

In the Event Settings page, you have several options to customise your event:

 

  • Event Title: Modify the name of your event to ensure it accurately reflects the content and attracts the right audience.

 

  • Description: Provide a detailed overview of what the event entails.

 

  • Category and Type: Classify your event to help users find it easily based on their interests.

 

  • Event Date: Set the exact date for your event.
    • Start Date and End Date: Define the timeframe of your event.
    • Timezone: Ensure your event timing is correct by selecting the appropriate timezone.

 

  • Event Location: Specify where your event will take place.
    • Custom Address: If this option is enabled, you can add detailed location information including 
      • Address 
      • Address 2 
      • City 
      • Postal Code, 
      • State
      • Country.
    • Online Event: For virtual events, enable this option 
      • and provide a meeting link.

 

  • Enable Capacity: Set a maximum number of attendees to manage event size.

 

  • Enable Attendee Questions: Allow attendees to submit questions, fostering engagement.

 

  • Event Tickets: Manage ticketing options with the following settings:
    • Enable External RSVP Link: Enable this to add an external URL for RSVPs.
    • External RSVP URL: Provide the URL where attendees can RSVP.
    • Currency: Select the currency for ticket sales.
    • Price: Set the price for tickets.

 

  • Event Groups
    • Finally, you can assign your event to specific groups to ensure it reaches the intended audience. This feature allows for targeted event promotion within your network.
