Configuration Steps
- Enable Parking Functionality:
- Activate "Credits" and/or "Paid Parking" based on your chosen payment methods.
- Navigate to the "Manage Parking Locations" section:
- Select a specific parking location from the list.
- Set a price rate for the location (choose from existing rates or create a new one).
- Configure additional settings like minimum reservation length and member reservation limit.
Price Rates
- Hourly cost definition: Define varying parking costs for different locations and times.
- Customization: Create unique rates based on your needs (e.g., peak hours, weekends).
- Currency considerations: Ensure price rate currency matches the associated parking location's currency.
- Manage Company Subscriptions:
- Go to the "Company" module and select a specific company.
- Create parking subscriptions for the company.
- Specify the allowed reservation types (member/guest) and set the maximum number of reservations per user.
- Define Price Rates:
- Head to "Platform Settings" -> "Pricing Rates."(Billing)
- Click on the settings icon > Pricing rates > click "Add Price Rate"
- Select "Parking" as the type and define the hourly cost, name, and other relevant
details.
- Ensure the price rate currency matches the associated parking location's currency.
- Additional Configurations:
- Automatic License Plate Recognition: Enable automatic access for guest reservations by providing licence plate information during booking.
- Advanced Reporting: Generate detailed reports on parking usage, revenue, and user behaviour for insightful decision-making.
- Integrations: Connect the parking system with other tools (e.g., access control systems, accounting software) for enhanced functionality.
Important Notes
- Company owners cannot directly add parking subscriptions for themselves. Contact an administrator for assistance.
- Credits are always prioritised if both credits and paid parking are enabled for a company.
- When credits are finished the user will have to continue booking by paying the hourly rate of the room.
- Maintain consistency between the currency used for parking locations and price rates to avoid errors.
