Managing VAT Rates and Pricing Rates

 

In Bisner, billing management plays a vital role in setting up VAT rates and pricing rates to ensure smooth and transparent financial transactions. This article will guide you through accessing the billing section and managing VAT rates, pricing rates, and price tiers. With these features, you can efficiently handle billing processes, including different tax rates, tiered pricing structures, and price visibility.

Accessing Billing Settings

To begin, click on the settings icon in your Bisner platform. From the settings menu, navigate to the "Platform" section, and select "Billing." This will lead you to the billing management area.

Managing VAT Rates

In the billing section, you can manage VAT rates applicable to your services or products. To add new VAT rates, click on "VAT Rates." Here, you can add the name of the VAT rate, the percentage rate, and specify whether it is VAT(Value Added Tax) or GST(Goods and Services Tax). This ensures accurate tax calculations for transactions.

Configuring Pricing Rates

Within the billing section, you can also configure pricing rates for your services or products. Click on "Pricing Rates" to add new rates. Here, you can provide a name, description, VAT rate (linked to the previously set VAT rates), and currency for each pricing rate.

Setting Price Tiers

One of the powerful features of pricing rates in Bisner is the ability to set price tiers. Price tiers enable you to offer different pricing based on usage. For example, you can set the first 3 hours at $10 per hour and, after that, the rate is reduced to $8 per hour until the end of the day.

Add Price Including VAT

To enhance price visibility for clients, you can choose to display prices with the added tax. Enabling the "Add Price Including VAT" option will show clients the total price, including the tax, simplifying the billing process.

Set Last Tier Price for All Hours

To ensure that clients are charged correctly for their bookings, you can activate the "Set Last Tier Price for All Hours" option. This means that if a booking exceeds a certain tier, the system will apply the pricing rate of the last tier for the entire duration of the booking.
